  Structure and principle
  Starch desander is composed of stainless steel inlet, outlet (overflow pipe), conical starch device, conical stainless steel tank, automatic control or manual sand discharge valve (generally equipped with two sand discharge valves), backwash valve, etc
During its operation, the potato emulsion (starch milk) was pumped into the starch remover and rotated at high speed in the sand remover
Due to the centrifugal force, lighter material (starch) was discharged through the overflow pipe, and the heavier material (sand grains) was discharged downward from the bottom along the inner wall of the cone-shaped starch tube under the action of centrifugal force
The sand particles downward are collected in the sand collecting bucket and discharged by manual or automatic sand discharge valve

Installation, use and maintenance
The equipment shall be installed at an accurate position according to the process requirements, and the position (ground) where the equipment is installed shall be horizontal and smooth
The starch desander does not need to be fixed with anchor bolts
Adjust the balance anchor at the bottom of the machine to make the equipment at the required horizontal position

All pipes connected to the starch desander shall be firmly supported to ensure the normal operation of the machine

When in use, adjusting the backwash water flow (should be continuous) is the key to maintain the sand removal rate
If the water pressure is too high, small sand particles will flow into starch through the overflow pipe; If the water pressure is too low, the starch will sink with the sand

The sand discharged from the desander can be judged to be desanded XG
The sand discharged from the desander should contain a very small amount of starch
If there is no starch at all, it indicates that a small amount of fine sand has not been collected and mixed with starch

In order to achieve desanding XG, the feed pressure should be kept at 6 bar
